Actually meditation, pranayama (breath control exercises) is easy pose. It's acceptable to most people and can be modified to suit individual comfort levels.
First,It is better to learn how to breath firstlybefore yoga practice, especially stomach breathing way. Because it could help us to strengthen our stomach muslces group. Nearlly all of yoga pose need stomach muscles power.
Second, it is better to empty stomach before yoga practice, thus it is not big burden for your body.
Third, better to do some simple stretch pose and active all of your muscles group before yoga practice.
Fouth: Wear comfort yoga wear and find quiet place and use clean yoga mat.
Fifth: Stay in one pose as long as it feels cofortable. Beginners may start with a few mins and increase gradually.
